About Department

The department of Zoology was established in 2009, focused on studying Life process, diversity of animals, structure, function, Cytology, Genetics, evolution, and ecology. We cater students with Skill Enhancement course Aquarium management and Fish Value Added products. Key strategy of department include inquiry-based learning, promoting critical analysis, encouraging hands-on experimentation, and providing mentorship to encourage independent, evidence-based conclusions.

In our department we create environment for holistic development of the complete individual and inculcate characters like open mindedness and responsibility towards the society and also towards Mother Nature.

Field Visit

Virtual Field trip was conducted using online Google Meet platform on 27.02.2021 in Kaziranga National Park, Ratnabore National Park, Kanna National park,Coral Reef and also able to know about history of Bandhav Garah National park and Tiger Reserve.
